I have been teaching since 1990 and have trained with the Inner Yoga Trust www.inneryoga.org.uk. Over those 30 years of teaching I have also practiced as a visual artist and a therapeutic masseuse.
I draw inspiration from many international teachers, in particular; Angela Farmer, Victor Van Kooten and Vanda Scaravelli. All my inspiring teachers, including my Mother, have originally studied with B. K.S. Iyengar in India. However, all have moved away from
his school of teaching to develop their own unique approach. More recently I have studied with Francoise Freedman, founder of Birthlight; specializing in Yoga for Menopause. I am currently expanding my experience and understanding of somatic movement through my own practice and the work of Thomas Hanna with
My journey with Hatha Yoga began as a child with my mother, Maureen. Out of this joyful exploration my practice of Yoga has played a central part in my personal growth and search for spiritual roots. My life experience has given me a deep appreciation for the connection between the mind and emotions, the breath, and the physical body. I see my practice and teaching as a healing art. I love wildlife and am a big fan of as I sense how our personal ecology and sense of well being is linked to our natural environment.

I now focus on teaching yoga and being a mother to my daughter Jasmine, who keeps me very busy and challenges me to apply my yoga practice to everyday life!
