This is a mind body approach which offers selected yoga resources to promote emotional, mental and physical balance, reproductive health and well being. The class moves at a gentle pace but works deeply, offering support and modifications for individual needs.  This class is not suitable if you are pregnant or newly post-natal.

What does a women only class offer?

       •      Postures for strength, flexibility and balance
  • Emotional grounding
  • Micro movements to tone deeper muscles

Well Woman Yoga is a specialism developed by Francoise Freedman within her training organisation; Birthlight.com.  Birthlight is dedicated to improving the health and happiness of women through out all stages of their life; puberty, conception, pregnancy, birth, postnatal, menopause and the post menopausal years. Each stage is celebrated and given the support that is needed for a smooth transition. Through the understanding of how yoga supports the neuroendocrine system and affects the mind and emotions, Well Woman Yoga offers particular support for the menstrual cycle, peri-menopause and the post menopausal years.
